What weirdos.design collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. In effect from September 22, 2026.

Who we are

weirdOS is a design company in Winchester, California, United States. It decides what happens with the information described here, which makes it the data controller. The address for every request below is hello@weirdos.design.

What we collect

When you join the list. The email address you type, the moment you signed up, and the site it came from.

When you book a call. The name, email and notes you enter into the calendar, which is run by Cal.com. Cal.com processes that under its own privacy policy, and the booking lands in our calendar.

When you write to us. Your message and address, kept in the thread until it is settled.

When you visit. Vercel serves this site and keeps standard server logs. A log line holds an IP address, a browser name and the page requested. There is no analytics or tracking on top of that.

Why we collect it

The list exists to tell you when something ships, and your address is kept because you ticked the box asking for that. Everything else is kept to reply to you, hold the call you booked, and keep the site running. Every one of those stays private. Selling it, renting it or passing it to marketers is off the table.

Who handles it for us

Google Workspace holds the list, our mail and our calendar. Cal.com runs the booking. Vercel serves the site. All three are in the United States, which is where weirdOS operates.

How long we keep it

Your address stays on file until you leave. Mail and bookings stay in our records for as long as we might need to follow up with you. Server logs are held by Vercel for its standard period.

Cookies and storage

This site sets no cookies. If you switch the lights off, the browser on your machine remembers that, and it never reaches us.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask what we hold about you, get a copy, have it corrected, have it deleted, or take back the consent you gave. Anyone in the European Union or the United Kingdom can also complain to your data protection authority. California gives you the same on its own terms, plus a promise that using them never gets you treated differently. Since your information is never sold, an opt out of sale is already the case.

Children

This site is not aimed at anyone under 16, and nothing of theirs is knowingly kept.

Changes

Any revision moves the date at the top.
